Reproducible Data Analysis with R

The one week intense workshop for bachelor and master (and PhD) students of agricultural sciences gives an introduction to R, a language for statistical programming.
Learn how to use R for data cleaning, transformation, analysis and visualisation and write scripts that will perform automatized and reproducible data analysis on larger data sets.
Aim of the course is to give you the ability to work with R on data for your bachelor and master thesis, as well to provide you with some basic programming skills that might be helpful for your later career.
The course is taught in English.

- Writing scripts for automatisation
- Transforming and cleaning data
- Data analysis - descriptive statistics

- Spatial data, GIS
- Tips & Tricks & Troubleshooting
- Documents with code, data, figures
Prerequisites:
- Bachelor or master student of agricultural sciences at the University of Bonn
- At least in the 4th semester of bachelor studies
- Interest in data analyis and programming
- Highly motivated

The course is limited to 25 participants. Places will be assigned by the first-come-first-serve principle. If there are more applicants than places, bachelor and master students will be given priority.
